Wonderful lunch

I made a trip into Colchester today for a meeting about a potential collaboration. The gentleman I met is a visiting lecturer at Cambridge botanic garden and is creating seasonal natural dyes. Can’t say too much at the moment, but it sounds fascinating. 

What was even more exciting was that I bumped into the previous editor of ‘The Hat Magazine’ Pure fluke !
I was in the Mercury theatre with a hat box and had got the sprout hat out to chat and she came over  and introduced herself. She saw the hat box and thought she’d be nosey. She was absolutely lovely, and a has been a real  inspiration to me.and shaped the hat industry as it is today. She was just there having a morning coffee with a friend,
