labradorite

A beautiful polished stone, quite big, and so smooth and shiny to hold. I found it in a little box of odd pretty things. It shines blue, yellow, green and grey in certain lights and it has flashes of silver too. So interesting to just look at and turn it over in your hand. I bought it from Leicester Museum a few years ago when Tom had an interest in dinosaurs and polished stones. He had a little net bag of assorted stones. Painting again today, it’s coming along well now. Raining again.
