Nate Rafa is 6!

A lovely day celebrating Nate! We collected him from school and his class had made him a crown and book full of pictures for him from his fríends... So special!! We met friends for lunch and then ice cream, and then bowling. He's had the most wonderful day. Home and Susanna came over for a birthday tea and a look through his gifts.
A special day for a special boy.

And now I can hear the drumming of one of the Holy Week processions making it's way up to the Cathedral!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate's class and teachers making such an effort for him.
2) A lovely lunch in the sun with friends. So glad James and Rich's trip here has coincided with the kids birthdays.
3) A fire not far from our home being successfully put out. Loads of smoke, helicopters, fire brigade etc...
