Blue Fire Megacoaster

Today we got up and went straight to Europa Park. Our hotel was on the resort property, so we could walk right in the gate.

This park is incredible. Now I understand why it's won best park several years in a row. It might actually be my favorite theme park. It's beautiful and has so many fun rides. The food's good too.

The main photo is Blue Fire, which was our first ride of the day. It's fun. The standout ride was Wodan, which is the first extra. What a ride! It was one of the best coasters on this trip. And the Piraten in Batavia dark ride was spectacular.

Also in extras: Euro Mir, a coaster I learned about around 20 years ago and never thought I'd get to ride; Arthur, a surprisingly fun coaster; and Schweizer Bobbahn.
