Hosting

I haven't moved back in yet but this is my first 'hosting'. Most of my builders are Polish and Easter is very important to them. So I made them a Simnel cake and, for the site manager who told me at Christmas that he doesn't eat sweet things, a tarte soleil*. I carried the whole lot carefully on my bike (pushed, not cycled) along with a box of light bulbs and my work clothes for this evening. I was relieved that everything arrived there without incident.

I couldn't find a small enough jar for the flowers - some of the few from the garden that have survived the building work.

*I discovered this evening that it's carbs he doesn't eat, so he left the tarte soleil to others. Ah well...
