A Great Start

Off to the West Coast caving for the long weekend!

I haven't been underground for ages and, as it turned out, there were many old friends there who I also hadn't seen for ages. It was a wonderful reunion and a bit funny meeting kids I last saw aged seven, who now are taller than me.

Not to mention being far more agile than I in a cave, these days. Hmmm.

The Friday night drive was made even better by a late train past Otira that somehow beat me to a railway crossing so I just had to stop and photograph it.

Damn.
