Bee-eater

We walked around the Boulder Beach circuit this morning in sunny conditions. There were lots of birds and we especially appreciated a pair of Rainbow Bee-eaters collecting insects in flight. This is the male, with long tail feathers. They are found in most of mainland Australia, and islands to the north.
