Mourning bee (Melecta albifrons)

I spotted what I thought was a mining bee on a dandelion in the garden. It's actually a cuckoo bee instead, and one we've not seen before. Quite an exciting find as according to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust they're scarcer in the southwest of England and Wales, so possibly the same over here in Jersey as well.
