What's afoot?
Part of my 'food parcel' delivered today. I'd ordered a shoulder of mutton for Easter as there is so much more flavour than lamb. I noticed that the online butcher I use had these pigs trotters for sale too, so decided to get some. For now they will go into the freezer as we have all the meals planned over Easter but I rather fancy having a go at a rather 'cheffy' recipe I've seen. It's a starter, the recipe is described as 'challenging', and it will probably take around four days to cook due to all the different stages it has to go through. A bit of a faff but it's what I enjoy doing, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
