Saddle Tor

It's been a lovely day again, just a couple of light showers. We did a shop early, it was quite busy, I think there must be quite a few holiday makers around already. This afternoon I decided to go up to Dartmoor and headed up to Emsworthy, a favourite place and one I go to a lot.

I've walked past this tree a hundred times and I have photographed it in the past. I saw a super photo of it in the last issue of Outdoor Photographer. The conditions were special in that photo but I had to go and look and take my own photo. Mine's not so bad but I'd have liked to see some water in the crater. I enjoyed a wander round the red barn as well while I was there.
