Skunk

This brightly coloured plant has the unfortunate name of skunk cabbage.  I bought it several years ago during a visit to an Open Garden in the Trossachs unaware that it is an invasive plant.
 
Fortunately it’s planted in our bog garden so there is no danger of it going anywhere.
 
 
Had my first session gardening this afternoon (yes, yes I know that it very late  to start this season’s gardening ). I was surprised to discover muscles I did not know I had despite going to the gym. Trouble is once a week attendance borders on being totally inadequate. Apparently you need two sessions a week to maintain the same level of fitness and three or more to increase it.
 
No chance. I prefer to spend the time gardening.
