Yes it's that time of the year again. Not quite as dramatic as the winter solstice / Maes Howe thing, but... you know....

Van collection first thing; then gathering maps, stove, sleeping bags and such like. The prospect of Mallaig is looming larger.

Then Alex and I went to fetch Loki and a mattress and also drop Her off at Northfield. 

Home for lunch; sleep, dog walk at Silverknowes and more gathering of kit etc.

After an Ottolenghi curry, I took the mattress to its new home and returned Loki home before - yip - more gathering of bits.
