Ceilidh

Tonight was the final night ceilidh - a tradition of short courses at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig.

Each class does a turn - songs or a poem or in our case step dancing ! Slightly daunting but also great fun. This is followed by ceilidh dances interspersed with others doing a turn - songs, tunes and poems. The dances were energetic to say the least - the most rambunctious Gay Gordens I’ve ever seen.

One more morning of classes and then it will be time to leave. It’s been a great week and I shall be buying some proper dancing shoes to continue practicing my step dancing.
