last night I got home, having sat in a sweaty office all day, to be greeted with the joyous task of prepping the floors for sanderman, who in that 'small world' fashion is an old schoolfriend of a work colleague. empty rooms completely, find plastic dustsheets to cover the shelves, tape dustsheets to walls, find one of the plastic sheets is riddled with holes, spend twenty minutes trying to patch it, get frustrated, slash carpets, rip carpets up, slash underlay, rip underlay up, go to asda for binbags, get rubble bags, come home, find rubble bags are small, slash carpet smaller, slash slash slash, rip up carpet in hall, slash slash, go to bed.
