The Asian sweets tasting adventure has officially started - a taiyaki (apple pie rather than the traditional red bean) - at a Japanese cafe/arts and crafts shop/stationary “village”. Other customers were stringing beads and painting koala faces.

And a random street encounter ended with a gift-wrapped rose.
