Beautiful pink blossoms.

Good Friday.
It is 4c, frosty roofs and a bright and beautiful morning for Good Friday.
I went out early for my walk. It was peaceful at the canal, no boats, just the swan on her nest.
It is amazing how happy the birds are. Sparrows, starlings, pigeons and more, are all in joyful voice and it added to the experience of a pleasant morning walk.
It is a sombre Holy Day, with no post, but it is also the day we were given a life changing shift from the kingdom of darkness to Christ's kingdom of heaven.
I hope many people realise that today.

Paul and me enjoyed a long canal walk from High Street bridge to Norden Bridge and along to Cut Wood Park and reservoir. The children's play areas were buzzing and by then it was warm and the whole scene was very happy.
