Product photography practice

Today was mostly spent working on my OU photography course and practicing product and food photography. I spent ages fiddling round with the set up and lighting for this shot, but am reasonably pleased with the result considering it was my first proper go at this type of photography. The bonus is I now also have a large glass of jaffa cake gin to drink.

Next I need to ice the cake I've baked for the food photography assignment. I'm not sure what my life has come to when I'm baking a cake primarily to photograph it rather than eat it!
