Wood Anemone Encore

The little wood anemone I blipped on Monday was enjoying the sunshine this morning and had started to open up.  Couldn't resist another blip for today's Flower Friday challenge.  Many thanks for hosting Anni/BikerBear.  And thanks for hosting the Wild Flower Week challenge Miranda.

Sadly I heard today that Fluffy was most probably looking for his mate Cello yesterday.  Poor Cello had lost power in her hock recently and after lying down in the stable overnight a couple of days ago could not manage to push herself up and so the only thing for the poor owner to do was have her put to sleep.  Very sad for him after 16 years.  Luckily Fluffy still has the sheep to keep him company and I gather there will be a new little pony coming to join them in May sometime.
