Reed Bunting #37

It’s been a glorious Good Friday for a change, starting with hot cross buns for breakfast - yum! 
I then spent the whole day in the garden - weeding, feeding, mulching and planting out hardy annuals. I’m amazed that I got so much done on my own but really pleased that it’s all done now as tomorrow I will no doubt ache a lot! 

Whilst I was in the garden this morning, I saw a pair of Reed Buntings in next doors garden. Until yesterday I’d never seen one in the garden before, so it was quite a surprise to see a male under our bird feeder. I was lucky that they hung around long enough today for me to run inside to get my camera.
