Work in Progress.

The sun shone, so I've been coating Emmeline's Wendy house all day. Problem is, woodstain needs a minimum of two coats, not more than 6 hours apart. So, basically, once you start, you have to continue. And continue I did, all day long.Hopefully tomorrow should see it all nearly done. It needs to be, as next weeks weather looks pretty wet!

We waved Hayley and family off on holiday to Norfolk this evening, so we have the house to ourselves - We promised not to have any parties! I remember coming home from a holiday in the USA when they were teenagers, all the bottles were neatly crated up ready to go to the tip (or wherever they went in those days) the house was immaculate. Good girls!

Their journey to Norfolk takes a minimum of 4 1/2hours, which is why they head off at bedtime. Hopefully the drive through the Peaks should be lovely on an evening like tonight.

Thank you for all the lovely comments for my special blip birthday yesterday. Because it was on my birthday, which is tomorrow when I first started blipping I tend to forget the way it's counted here. It's become second nature to find something to blip each day, and although sometimes a struggle to find something to blip, I love it!
