Artisans at Work

Back at Mosaic School to continue working on our projects. I’m slowly getting the hang of cutting the stone and mortaring the tessere in place. I have moments when I wonder why it is I am spending hours putting pieces of stone in the shape of a bird. I’m using the direct method…what you see is what you get. Mike (extra) is using the indirect method…what you see will be the underside, the finished image is viewed when turned over.
