Kingsbarns Beach

On a day with cloudless blue skies and an incoming tide Kingsbarns Beach is the place to be.  Powerful waves breaking on the shore and then, if like me you are standing too near the water, it finds its own way, rather quickly, to give your shoes an unexpected soaking.

Part of the Fife Coastal Path runs parallel to the beach and by the time we turned to walk back the tide was almost fully in and only soft sand was exposed. We find walking on soft sand really hard going so we walked back along the path.
