Flooding continues

The rain has stopped temporarily, but more is predicted and more rapid melting of snow and ice at higher elevations may yet make things worse. The valley of Gudbrandsdalen, and especially the village of Kvam, has been severely flooded leaving many homeless and many more evacuated in the worst spring flooding since 1995. In Oslo we are not affected by any of this, and as I write the sun is even shining!
