Ullswater

A gorgeous day, sunny and pretty warm (except when cycling downhill!). Some washing, gardening and seed sowing and then late afternoon I put the bike on the car and cycled down to the old swim spot for my first bracing dip of the year. Slogged my way back to where I’d parked up. 
The campsites were completely rammed. I met a woman from Kendal at the beach - she was staying at the campsite … her sons and husband were boating on the lake and she said she was glad to find somewhere peaceful to sit with the site being so chokka.
