Same beach

Different time of day.

Out at dawn walking the dogs.  Too late to walk down to the rocks, as the colour would have gone by then.  So gave the dogs a run (see extra) then went back to the warmth of our beds for a couple of hours.

We've moved on now, staying at Herbert Forest Park at Waianakarua.  A spot I've always planned to check out and never got around to.  It's very busy, being Easter and their last weekend open for a few months - they close over winter.  But it is an unexpectedly nice camp - casual unregimented sites,  fire drums scattered about and stocked with wood and surrounded by acres of trees.  The only thing that would make it better for me is if there were more native trees and birds (and less people of course ;-)
