Heading Home
The view from Craignure as we awaited MV Loch Frisa (a small boat for such a popular route but CalMac's ferry woes are well known so no point in my going on about them here).
I was awake very early thinking about the holiday and the journey home. At first light there was a big cruise ship off shore but it sailed away to its next destination before long. Maybe it had just stopped to let people see colourful Tobermory. We packed up, sorted things out and closed the door on our lovely holiday cottage.
On the way to Craignure we stopped near Fishnish and had a walk. Canada geese, oystercatchers, gulls, crows and lots of much smaller birds. No-one else about though so it was a peaceful walk.
Now on the crossing to Oban and we should be on our way down the road about 2pm. It'll be good to get home and see how the seeds, garden and house are doing.
We've had a great week and are so pleased that we booked a return trip to Mull.
