April '2nd Saturday Strollers'

April 2nd Saturday Strollers walk earlier today - the weather continues to be rather glorious here, right across Central Scotland, and we thus had perfect conditions for a bit of an Easter-themed  wander around Edinburgh :-)

The collage above shows most of our route: from the City Centre we went up and over the ridge of Arthur's Seat; the surrounding gorse was looking rather wonderful ; not sure the same can be said of our 'decorated eggs'! ; which we rolled down from the top of the Duddingston Orchard  field ; all prior to walking back towards town, going past a serene-looking Duddingston Loch ...

... end-of-walk refreshments were thereafter deemed essential ;-)
