Animal rescue day!

Found this fluffy bee on its back in the lounge. Put it on a saucer with a little sugary water and took it outside. Returned an hour later and it had recovered and flown away!

More cloud about today, but after yesterday’s glorious sunshine the grass was finally dry enough to cut so mowed both lawns. In getting the lawnmower out of the greenhouse for the first time this year, I discovered that Mickey Mouse had been overwintering in the grass box. As I moved the mower I saw him scuttle away. Being the sad sack that I am, I then felt guilty at removing his home so found a small box and made him a cosy little nest!

Thank you so much for all your kind words, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip. We received flowers, cards and phone calls all remembering Mum, and all meant with the kindest of intentions, but they stirred up a lot of very difficult emotions...
