Farmer’s Market
Another lovely sunny day. We were up and out at 8:30 to get the 7 minute bus to the train station and then 10 minute train to Stroud. We bought a Two-Together railcard so the journey was £7 return for all of us, madness! Stroud Farmer’s market is just gorgeous and has so many great stalls. We bought an egg custard tart from a Portuguese man, sourdough, pastries, a big bunch of purple sprouting broccoli and local beeswax candles. I saw so many families with the same bike as me! We got the train home and had lunch in the garden. In the afternoon we went to B&Q for some garden plants, dahlia bulbs and a hose. Feeling very content.
