Today I spent the afternoon at the National Library of Scotland with Pat Bremner. Pat signed us up for the lecture "Beyond Google - An introduction to Credo Reference and Oxford Reference Online." Afterwards, I got a library card!!!! To me this is incredibly exciting, almost as good as getting a passport. After securing the card, we had a snack and then looked at an archive of Scottish papers from the late 18th and early 19th centuries to learn what we can about the time period of my great great great grandfather Murdoch Campbell.

It was a great day out. I am exhausted! Thanks Pat.
