A working day, carrying out a preliminary survey of a watercourse included within a major re-wilding scheme in Lincolnshire. The sun shone, butterflies were on the wing, and it felt warm and springlike. The watercourse was structurally more varied than we expected, though with potential for improvement, particularly regarding water quality. I wonder what this view will look like in twenty years time?
