Cat
Venice is a pigeon paradise, a dog heaven, but there are very few cats. Apparently the city was over run with feral cats until they started a program of capture and sterilisation some years ago; it seems to have worked wonderfully well, and I'm sure the pigeons appreciate it. This is the only cat we have seen thus far, and it looks supremely contended dozing in the sun.
In extras we have a wonderful example of glass from the Glass Museum on Murano; a strange modern art installation in the Biennale area; and a square on the Island of Murano.
