all by myself

I really like grape hyacinths but I don’t think they’re that happy in our garden. I’m always planting them and after the first year I’m lucky if I get one flower. There was a pretty little group of them here last spring - this year I have just one - this one. No doubt I’ll plant some more of them in the autumn again.
Today I ordered the curtain material for the new curtains I’m making for the kitchen, it’s almost finished now.
