A day for seeing birds

A day of blue skies, sunshine and chilly winds near the coast.

Chatted to my friend this morning, did some jobs, had coffee and went for a short walk late morning, took some cake to 2 friends on the way. Called in to see K and his family had just left, he was having a coffee and sit down:)  Helped him clear up, wash up etc and then we had a sandwich lunch sitting in the garden.  After lunch we went to the garden centre and bought a couple of plants to put in the pond, then went for a long walk over the common and along the seawall back to my house for tea and cake.  Pleased to get the main blip as it was hopping around from branch to branch.  The extra was taken in the water on the landside of the seawall
