Up the hill

As I mentioned in yesterday’s blip we had an early start this morning as we needed to be at the top of Hill of Tarvit for the 8 am Easter ecumenical service. 

A large crowd climbed the steep hill with many 4 legged companions and it was a beautiful morning - the town below was shrouded in mist as can be seen in the 2nd extra.

We then adjourned to to the local village hall for bacon rolls - very welcome.
As we left I watched the large tractor in the extra  negotiating the narrow road obviously heading for a morning sowing . It is in full swing on local farms.
