A sad Easter for some

A hike with friends in the sunshine today. Very sadly, as we were playing with the dogs here, there was a massive avalanche into the next valley. We sat and watched the amazing rescue helicopters buzzing back and forth. Four people have now been confirmed dead, with maybe another nine also caught up. A reminder of how much we all need to respect the mountains. What a sad day for many families.
