Easter Sunday

We had great family hike in Kangasala. Weather was perfect, warm and sunny!  There was still quite much snow in the woods: it was wet and soft and quite hard to walk. First we walked around a small lake that has very peculiar name, Joutsenenpesä = Swan's nest. There is a small island in the middle of that small lake, probably swans are  always nesting there. All small lakes in the woodlands still have ice cover, but we did see 9 whooper swans flying! We also saw a spider, a hairy caterpillar and a brimstone butterfly, despite of all that snow! Then we reached Norojärvet lakes, a narrow set of three small lakes. There was a campfire place, where we had lunch. Leevi cooked us campfire coffee!

It was lovely walk, but a bit too long and tough for me, after the metastasis in my spine, my back starts to hurt easily. I decided not to go to the woods before all snow is gone.

In the evening we had Easter dinner and then we watched a movie called Coda.
