Day 7 on the damn Gulag

Please make it stop! The bloody wind is incessant.  Went to the Easter service then tried walking the dogs on the machair. Every time I trew the rope ball the wind carried it twice as far but at least the dogs had a good work out. 
Stayed indoors the rest of the day and binge watched some Irish cop series. Its not bad actually.  In the evening? I had promised my pal who was organising a ceidh I would go. Honestly  I thought i must be mad drivi g into the eye of a storm.  However I was glad i went and met loads of folks and danced the night away.
When i came out of the hall  i couldn't figure out what wS wrong....... No wind!
Its the first day since arriving last Sunday that theres no wind and now the place is eerily quiet and I dont need to have the tv volume all the way up at 30!
Relaxing with a glas of wine and a cream egg now.
