Two butts on a bus and other stories

We had our Passover seder today and it was good.  The twins were being toddlers and little Levi was being fussy, but we survived.  In this collage you see Sam and Max as "two butts on a bus" (Max said) and fighting over the rocking horse.  With Sam in possession, Max pushed the horse back and forth so hard that it nearly fell over.  Last photo is of Lex holding Levi in one of his more restful moments.   Lex made a lovely dinner, including gefilte fish, and made up the seder plate, Manda made her wonderful charoses, Sarah brought the hard-boiled eggs, and I made the matzo ball soup.  The twins tasted and did not like the fish and wouldn't taste the matzo balls because they looked just like the fish.  They really missed out - the matzo ball soup is my favorite part of Passover dinner.  For dessert Lex had made coconut macaroons with a chocolate coating, her first and very successful attempt.  The twins were really not old enough yet to focus on the seder at all, but I think next year will be better, when we will also shorten and change the readings for the seder.
