Take off...

Finally, one of those great opportunities when you have the right camera, with the right lens, and it's on the right setting at the right time!
And there wasn't a tree in the way either :-)

The swans were bad tempered this morning, chasing each other from the prime feeding spots. Much noise and squawking and wing flapping. This is one of a series of shots, ending with a wonderfully inelegant sprawl.
