The place Poelaert is a vantage point from which to gaze over the lower town of Brussels. I happened to drive through the square on the way to the Midi Station to pick up my parents this evening.

The sun had come out in the early evening and I jumped out the car and snapped this photo - if you look carefully you can see the Atomium on the horizon (just to the left right of the church in the middle of the blip).
