Bench with a view.

Not as gloomy as it looks!

A damp start to the day and a long walk out of the village and up and round the quarry.

This is on a permissive path around the quarry, hence why it looks gloomier than it is in reality. I've always thought the bench points the wrong way but is useful as a coffee stop. To the right of the snap is a sculpture of a miner that I think I've Blipped before.

In the extra, the locals are revolting! 

Being a pedant, I'm not sure where Mountsorrel Woods are as I'm pretty sure this is still part of Buddon Wood that encircles the quarry. Boring local detail, yawn....
