A late blip because I had difficulty accessing blipfoto while I was away.
It was a lovely morning for a walk up Bosley Cloud on the edge of the Pennines where the Welsh mountains can easily be seen to the west in clear weather.  Much nearer is the famous Jodrell Bank radio telescope which is just visible in the distance between the two people on the rocks. The photo with the dog shows the view half way up from our picnic spot looking towards the telescope.   Whenever young O goes up there, he and his friends add branches to the “den” and enjoy climbing trees and the rocks.  His two older brothers plan to go up to see both the midsummer sunrise and sunsets so probably O and his sister will join them.  In the summer twilight it should be much easier to negotiate the rough stony paths and tree roots than it would be now.
Our visit to the family had been enjoyable especially with the youngest, who unlike his siblings, was not busy studying for exams.   We played various games, went for walks and shopping for a treat and made apple pies.  All to soon it was time to leave and hopefully we might see them in July or August.
