Full of surprises

We hadn't walked far when about five or six jays flew overhead. I missed the focus on those. I reached the woods and looked up to spot two mating chaffinches. I missed the action on those (well, almost). The trees sounded alive with chiffchaffs and I found this one leaping into ivy to catch this fly and then trying to sing with it. 

For a short outing, a pretty cool morning.
