Archegonium

Took myself over to Blawhorn Moss National Nature Reserve in West Lothian for an Easter Sunday afternoon walk. (I reckoned all the usual spots would be busy, given that it was a sunny Easter Day.)

This sculpture 'Archegonium' by Jim Whitson ('the Blazing Blacksmith' as it says on a nearby panel) represents the female reproduction system of hair moss. One learns something new every day!
