Looking Up (and over my shoulder)

Working in York and Wakefield today.

There was a spring like feel in the air and driving home from Wakefield I took the opportunity to blip the Emley Moor Transmitter across a bright yellow field of oil seed rape.

Maybe I should be looking over my shoulder again?

I've been lucky to get the opportunity to travel up to the top of the mast on a couple of occasions in connection with my past environmental health work. My second trip up the mast was with a group of telecommunications engineers and as well as going up in the lift to the observation platform I donned full climbing gear and was allowed to climb the vertical ladder throught the Channel 5 aerial which is above the observation platform. There is a trap door on the top of the aerial.
