Ariadne and the Pleiades (MM481)

A bit of a faff about with a freebie stock image and one of Ariadne with the telescope.

My day has been less than exciting - much of it spent in the loft putting another socket in, and tidying the wiring for the TV antenna head amplifier.

I'm rapidly approaching the idea that my knees and eyesight are are getting too old for this sort of thing!

On a more positive note, Gill made some great prints of the beach huts at Wells-next-the-Sea, and, handed over the choir's music books to one of the others who has offered to take on the librarian role.  This is a good thing for Gill as she no longer has the hassle of keeping notes on who has which book(s) and/or getting them back in on time.  Gail, who has taken it on is also an ex-teacher, so well used to handing books out and getting them back.  She can easily follow Gill's notes on who has what at the moment.

Good (make that extremely good) for me too as the role of sympathetic listener when books are late now falls to her partner :-)
