Sampling

We did one of our monthly citizen science water samples today. Due to the heavy rain we’ve had in the last 24 hours, the water was very brown and turbidity was high. The nitrates and phosphates weren’t too bad, though. Not long after I took this picture there was another sudden, heavy downpour.
