The Life of Pi

The wreck of the Banff registered Sovereign which went down just off Cairnbulg in 2005 was used on the poster for the blockbuster film Life of Pi.
Despite the warning light flashed every 10 seconds from the beacon (seen behind the wreck) many ships have come to grief on the treacherous reef known as Cairnbulg Briggs.
