Fourteen

A book read in a day and second in a row by a celebrity author written very much in his own voice. It was a mix of silliness, likeable characters and a storyline that pulled multiple strands together. A quick read but an enjoyable one. It's been the day for stopping in and reading with a pitiful amount of steps taken on one and a half walks for Bailey. The half was first thing this morning in a very heavy shower and we turned back once he had done what he needed to do. The second was after tea, dry but considerably colder than it has been for the last few days. There looks to be a relatively dry period at some point tomorrow but the good weather isn't forecast to return until we are back at school.
